I found this tag over on Madeline @ The Bookish Mutant (they have a wonderful blog that you should definitely follow) and it looked incredibly fun, but I never got to it. I saw it again on Library In The Tower (another incredible book blog) and decided to try it for myself! This was originally created by Shivakshi @ Tales I Tell.

What was the last book you read?
Perfect On Paper!!
The last book I read was Perfect on Paper by Sophie Gonzales! (And the answer really should be different by now, but I’ve been busy since school started 🤢🤢 and haven’t read nearly enough). It’s a YA contemporary with LGBTQ+ rep!!
Did this book meet your expectations?
Yes. While it isn’t my favorite book, it’s comforting and sweet, and rep!! So I love it. It’s adorable, and character growth!!
Will you recommend this book to others?
Yes, most definitely!! I adored this book, and it’s a wonderful read if you’re looking for a sweet book with a good message. PLUS BI REP!! I will mention this hundreds of times because it’s wonderful.
What is your current read?
I’m reading both Tweet Cute and Kaikeyi right now!! Normally I take photos of my books before I annotate them but uh… guess who forgot… But!! It adds personality okay!! Um… stylistic decisions…
Why did you pick this book?
I picked Kaikeyi because it’s on my to be read for this month
and it’s my sister’s book so I need to finish it so I can return it to her. I picked Tweet Cute because I saw it at Half Price Books. We had a moment. And I felt the need to read it immediately and also it was really cheap.
How much time do you think you’ll take to finish your current read?
Hmmm I’ll probably finish Kaikeyi today, then Tweet Cute tomorrow. I haven’t been able to read as much recently because lots of stuff got in the way and sent me into a bit of a reading slump… again. But it’s the weekend, and I’m determined to read!
Well, after I finish this.
What genre would you like to read next?
Hmmm based on my TBR for this month, I’d say fantasy. Overall I’d like to start reading more classic literature so I can get more of a feel for the language, and also just to explore it more!!
What would you like to pick: a long read or a short read?
Typically I prefer longer reads, because once I start reading I’m invested for a long time. However I do appreciate shorter reads so… it depends?
Mention some books you’re eyeing!
Legendborn + The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo for my next two (because I’m incredibly excited) as well as everything on my TBR (for the rest of 2022)!
